$30 Meal Budget Challenge Menu Plan
A week of tasty meals have been created for the $30 meal budget menu. When I started this challenge https://abundantfoodco.com.au/blog/20-meal-budget-challenge/ I was trying to get it down to $20 & I could have but it would have been insanely boring & very carb heavy which is really not good for you. Some of the grocery items will carry into the following weeks, to give you the base to start to build up your supplies, so some weeks you will just need a top up and your grocery bill will be even cheaper. the shopping list will be in the next blog post.
Another great way to cut costs is to grow your own fruit, vegetables & herbs. You only need a small space to grow food, you can even do it on your apartment window sill. Excess produce can be swapped with friends, given away or preserved for use later. This is a whole other story which I will get to later.
